Subscription and Cancellation Policy

1. Plans and prices

Membership is available as a 1 Week, 1 Month or 3 Months plan. On the US App Store these plans cost $19.99, $39.99 and $89.99; the 3 Months plan is the Best Value tier. Optional Invite Packs cost $9.99 (3 invitations), $29.99 (10 invitations) and $59.99 (25 invitations) on the US App Store. The App Store shows the price that applies to you, in your local currency, before you confirm a purchase.

2. Free trial

Eligible new members may be offered a 14-day free trial. Before you start it, the store purchase screen shows the plan, the price that will be charged when the trial ends and how often the subscription renews. Unless you turn off automatic renewal before the trial ends, your paid subscription starts automatically at that price.

3. Billing and automatic renewal

Your subscription is billed by the store for the period you select: weekly, monthly or every three months. It renews automatically at the end of each period at the price you agreed to until you turn off automatic renewal. You confirm these terms on the store purchase screen before you are charged, and the store sends you a receipt for each charge.

4. Payment processing

New purchases are made in the Lectella app through the Apple App Store. The store you use processes your payment. Lectella receives the purchase information needed to provide and manage your Membership or Invite Pack. Lectella does not receive your full payment-card number. We do not offer payment through this website.

5. How to turn off automatic renewal

Use the subscription settings of the store where you purchased. For Apple purchases, use your Apple Account subscription settings. In the Lectella app, Settings › Membership › Manage subscription opens the correct page. You do not need to call, email or speak to anyone. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Lectella account does not cancel a subscription.

6. After you turn off renewal

You normally keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, unless a refund or another store action ends it earlier. We do not refund partial periods except where required by law.

7. New York three-business-day right

If you are a New York member, you may cancel within three business days of the date you subscribed and receive a full refund. How to send your cancellation, and the statutory Notice of Cancellation, are on the Notice of Cancellation page.

8. Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple: request one in the Lectella app under Settings › Membership › Request a refund, or at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, the Membership or invitations it paid for are removed. Contacting us never limits your right to seek a refund from your store or under applicable law.

9. Failed renewals

If the App Store cannot collect a renewal payment, the store may retry for a period and your Membership may pause or end. To continue, update your payment method in your store account.

10. Price changes

If a price changes, the App Store notifies you under its rules and, where required, asks for your agreement before the new price applies. A new price applies only from a future renewal.

12. Invite Packs

Invite Packs are optional one-time purchases that add invitations to your account. Sending an invitation requires an active Membership. The number of invitations and the price are shown before you buy. An invitation does not guarantee a reply or a meeting.
